2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Information you provide directly.

  • Account and contact information: name, email address, and, where you provide it, phone number and mailing address.
  • Order information: the details of your translation Order, including language pair, service type, and instructions.
  • Source Materials: the documents, images, text, or files you submit for translation, which may contain personal information about you or third parties (for example, names, dates of birth, government identifiers, and other data appearing in the documents).
  • Communications: the content of messages you send us (for example, support requests, revision requests, and dispute notices).

2.2 Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment-card numbers on our own systems. The payment processor collects and processes your payment details subject to its own terms and privacy policy; we receive limited transaction information (for example, confirmation of payment and the last digits of the card).

2.3 Information from social sign-in (Facebook and Google). If you choose to register or sign in using Facebook Login or Google Sign-In, we receive from that provider a limited set of profile information that you authorize, which typically includes your name, email address, and a unique account identifier, and, where applicable, your profile picture. We use this information only to create and authenticate your account and to operate the Service. We do not post to your social accounts and do not receive your social-account password. Our use of information received from these providers complies with the Meta Platform Terms and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including their Limited Use requirements (see Section 8).

2.4 Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers may collect technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, and timestamps, through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 9).

  • with your consent where required, send you marketing or promotional communications (which you may opt out of at any time).

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers: vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, payment processing, communications, analytics, and translation production support, under obligations of confidentiality and data protection.
  • Qualified translators/reviewers: personnel who perform and human-verify your translation, who handle Source Materials confidentially.

Source Materials and Deliverables are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law, after which they are deleted or de-identified. You may request deletion as described in Section 7.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest and automatic expiration of secure download links. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
